The National Christian Honor Association (NCHA) is a prestigious academic and character-based society dedicated to recognizing and developing exceptional homeschool, private, and public school students who exemplify Christian values in leadership, scholarship, and service.
Whether your student is called to ministry, medicine, entrepreneurship, or education, NCHA provides a platform to celebrate their achievements and connect them with a nationwide network of purpose-driven peers.
To honor academic excellence and Christ-centered leadership among homeschool students, cultivate integrity through service, and inspire lifelong impact through faith, learning, and community.
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for induction:
Academic Achievement Minimum 3.0 GPA in advanced level core academic subjects, with emphasis on honors-level coursework or demonstrated academic rigor. (see application for more academic considerations)
Faith-Based Leadership Evidence of leadership rooted in Christian values—through church involvement, community service, or homeschool initiatives.
Character & Integrity A consistent demonstration of honesty, humility, initiative, and a heart for service.
Recommendation One letter of reference from a pastor, educator, or community leader who can speak to the student’s character and leadership.

Application Window: September 1 – December 1
Induction Ceremony: December 7 at 2:80 PM, Arlington Music Hall
Steps to Apply:
Complete the online application form
Submit $150 membership dues (link will be emailed)
Upload transcripts and optional leadership portfolio
Provide one letter of recommendation
Attend a virtual interview with the NCLHS review committee

The National Christian Honor Association (NCHA) is proud to offer a $2,500 scholarship to inducted members who are committed to serving others through education, leadership or ministry.
This scholarship is available to students who:
Enroll at Texas Southern Christian University (TSCU)
Declare a major in Christian Education, Christian Leadership or express interest in pursuing a Seminary degree
Must be an inducted member of NCHA
Must apply and be accepted to TSCU
Must declare a major in Education or Seminary Studies
Must demonstrate Christian leadership, academic excellence, and a heart for service
Eligible students will receive scholarship application instructions upon induction. Finalists will be selected based on academic merit, leadership experience, and a personal statement outlining their calling to teach, lead, or serve in ministry.
***Members of both NTX Homeschool High School and NCHA that complete the dual enrollment program through Texas Seminary Christian University tend to graduate with an associates or bachelors at their high school graduation.
