NTX Homeschool High School is proud to launch the National Honors Society of Science and Engineering for Homeschoolers (NHSEH) — a prestigious academic society dedicated to recognizing and nurturing high-achieving homeschool students with a passion for STEM.
Whether your student dreams of building bridges, decoding genomes, or launching rockets, NHSEH provides a platform to celebrate their achievements and connect them with like-minded peers across the country.
To honor academic excellence in science and engineering among homeschool students, foster leadership rooted in integrity, and inspire innovation through collaborative learning and service.
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for induction:
🔹 Academic Excellence: Minimum 3.0 GPA in honors science and honors math courses or a minimum of 3.5 GPA in non. (see application for more academic considerations)
🔹 STEM Engagement: Demonstrated interest through projects, competitions, or coursework in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
🔹 Character & Leadership: Evidence of integrity, initiative, and service within the homeschool community
🔹 Recommendation: One academic or community-based reference
National recognition for STEM achievement
Access to mentorship and networking opportunities
Participation in exclusive science fairs, engineering challenges, and research showcases
Scholarships and dual credit guidance for STEM pathways
Leadership development through service projects and collaborative initiatives
Applications open September 1st and close December 1. Induction ceremonies will be held December 8th at 2pm at the Arlington Musical Hall.

Submit $150 membership dues. (a link will be emailed)
Submit transcripts and project portfolio (optional but encouraged)
Provide one letter of recommendation
Attend a virtual interview with the NHSEH review committee
